Jules Christie

Jules has worked as a shamanic practitioner since 2008, after taking a two-year practitioner training in the Foundation For Shamanic Studies core shamanic training, delivered by the UK faculty of that time, she has also studied with Sandra Ingerman and Betsy Bergstrom.

Over the last ten years Jules has offered shamanic healing and workshops from Healthy Oxford, Eau de Vie and the Yoga Barn and she is a regular guest at Wood Festival.  She has taken non-certified courses in psychodynamic practice and somatic therapy to provide grounded support during shamanic sessions (at Oxford University and the Cambridge Centre for Body Psychotherapy) and she is a qualified teacher with a subject specialism in the arts.

As well as shamanic healing sessions Jules offers workshops and one to one tuition in shamanic journeying; bespoke workshops for professional organisations, artists and musicians; and a limited number of informal shamanic apprenticeships.

Jules is a qualified yoga teacher and the creator and director at Barefootdancing: a meditational dance form which explores the multiform permutations of form and formlessness.  She offers short courses in shamanic dance mediumship, movement trance and visionary experience, earth fertility ceremonies and the healing and transformational power of ritual movement.
